Wuhan Optics Valley East Lake Tram

The T1 and T2 projects of Wuhan Optics Valley East Lake Tram are full-line non-touch-net mode trams, the whole train adopts 100% low floor steel wheel rail trams. The main line, the storage line and the depot/parking lot are all powered by the UCK series high-energy ultracapacitor energy storage systems and charging pylons are installed at the stations along the line and in the depot/parking lot.

Yunnan Honghe high-energy ultra capacitor tram

On October 31, 2017, a new type of tram using Aowei high energy ultracapacitor as power supply was unveiled to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan Province. The achievements of Aowei’s innovation blooms in Southern China, and Honghe Prefecture in Yunnan Province has entered a new era of green public transport.
